7 days Wildebeest Migration Safari itinerary
DAY 1: TARANGIRE
After breakfast, start your 7 day wildebeest Migration safari with a drive to Tarangire National Park, 2 hours’ drive from Arusha. The park is the third largest National park and home for the large elephant population. Huge anxiety baobab trees makes animals that feed beneath look dwarf.
Tarangire River, is the only permanent water supply in the area and this attracts many animals around it and make it perfect area for wildlife viewing. Other animals found in the park includes Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, and elephants.
You will have lunch at the picnic site with great Tarangire river view. After lunch, proceed with game drive till evening, check out the park and drive to your accommodation.

DAY 2: SERENGETI VIA L.NATRON.
Start your journey early and drive to further northern Serengeti through Lake Natron and Wasso village. Experience a first-ever game drive in Lobo area and enter the Serengeti park by afternoon at Kleins Gate. Huge herds of wildebeests are expected to be seen returning to the southern Serengeti, Ndutu area between months of October and December.
Lobo areas posses permanent springs and open grass plains interspersed with kopjes provide habitat for a wide variety of resident wild animals such as buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and carnivores. Later evening drive to your Lobo Wildlife Lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: NORTHERN SERENGETI
During the dry season, Northern Serengeti is home to vast migratory herds. With its amazing and unique scenery and many wildlife, the huge part of the Northern Serengeti is still unexplored wilderness. Northern Serengeti is also a wealth of resident wildlife such as lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, leopards and crocodiles.
Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
DAY 4: SERENGETI
Explore the northern Serengeti before drive toward the Central Serengeti or your could opt to proceed with a full day great migration game drives in the North Serengeti . Spend the day in the Serengeti enjoying more wildlife with our 7 -day migration package. All year round, the Serengeti area is home to a variety of wildlife.
Proceed with your great wildebeest migration game drives till late evening. Drive to lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: SERENGETI-NGORONGORO
After early morning breakfast, proceed with game drive till afternoon and after lunch, start a transfer game drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodging on the crater rim and take in the breathtaking view of the caldera before dusk falls beneath a starry sky.
On the way, you will have optional visit to Maasai village. Arrive in the Ngorongoro during evening. Dinner and overnight at Rhino lodge.
DAY 6: NGORONGORO
Descend the crater early morning for more game drives. The Ngorongoro crater is home to a large variety of animals such as elands, elephants, rhinos and lions also wildebeests and zebras can be seen inside the crater floor.
After a full day game drive with a stop for lunch in the crater, proceed to check out the park and drive to mto wa mbu to overnight at Heart and Soul lodge.
DAY 7: MANYARA
Today we’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park for more game drives. The park is well-known for its abundance of flamingos and its tree-climbing lions (not guaranteed). Go on a game drive and enjoy what Manyara has to offer. The park is also home to buffaloes, babboons, wildebeest, lions, warthogs, vultures, eagles and monkeys.
After lunch, proceed with game drive before check out the park and drive back to Arusha or Airport. Note that, this 7 days Serengeti wildebeest Migration Safari can start from Zanzibar, Arusha or Dar es salaam and end anywhere according to your plans.
