4 days fly-in safari from Zanzibar itinerary
Day 1: Zanzibar to Serengeti.
Start your 5 day safari from Zanzibar a morning pick-up from the hotel to the airport (included). Arrive at Seronera Airstrip in the Serengeti around 10:30 am – 11:00 am.
Meet and greet your safari crew and proceed with a full-day game drive in different parts of the Serengeti depending with the season.
During afternoon, enjoy your hot fresh lunch at the picnic site, surrounded by small birds and monkeys.
After a lunch, continue the game drive till evening and drive to Seronera Public Campsite. for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Serengeti full-day game drive (Follow the Migration)
After early breakfast, continue with the game drive. On this day, you can decide to have a full-day game drive or you can divide the drives into an early morning till afternoon and then an evening game drives.
Afterwards, if you prefer to relax at the camp in the afternoon it is possible, but no time is wasted on vacation so we advise you to head out for the whole day so as to spend more time in game drives.
Dinner and overnight at Seronera public campsite.
Day 3: Early Serengeti Game Drive and transfer to Ngorongoro highlands.
After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive to different regions of the park. Return to the camp for lunch. After lunch, pack and start your journey back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite located at the crater rim.
Day 4: Ngorongoro crater Game Drive.
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. Inside this beautiful crater, experience Africa’s version of “Noah’s Ark”, with a different type of wildlife. Crater is home to the elephants, hyenas, big cats, rhinos, and much more.
Stop for lunch at hippo lake and then enjoy another game drive as you ascend back up to the crater rim.
Later head to Karatu Safari Camp for dinner and overnight while awaiting your evening cycling and nature walks to finalise your day.
Day 5: Tarangire then Zanzibar
On this day, continue with the game drives from early morning in Tarangire national park. Continue with the game drives and activities till afternoon. Have a lunch at picnic site and then proceed with game drive while exiting the park in the afternoon and head to the Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar and marking an end of your best 5-days budget safari staring from Zanzibar island.
