DAY 01: TARANGIRE

Embark on your 6-day wildebeest migration safari adventure at approximately 8:00am, setting off on a scenic 2-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. Renowned for its majestic ancient baobab trees and abundant elephant population, the park promises awe-inspiring sights.

Following lunch, proceed your exploration with a game drive until late evening 5:30pm, check out the park and make your way to our accommodation, Farms Of Dreams, for a restful dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 02: NORTHERN SERENGETI.

Following breakfast, start your drive to north Serengeti, renowned as one of Africa’s top wildlife reserves. Passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route, you’ll be awestruck by the expanse of this area and the diverse array of animals and birds dotting the acacia-dotted savannah.

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s oldest and most celebrated reserve, is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It boasts year-round appeal, with each season offering unique highlights, including the renowned annual wildebeest migration—a spectacle not to be missed.

En route, enjoy a wildebeest migration game drive on the way before reaching the Northern Serengeti. Your accommodation for the night is the Heritage Migration Camp.

DAY 03: NORTHERN SERENGETI RIVER CROSSING.

Today we will explore the northern Serengeti on a full-day game drive in search of the great wildebeest migration.

The focus will be on the the Mara River area where hungry nile crocodiles prey and the wildebeest migration gather and wait to cross the river. It might take days or hours for wildebeest migration to choose a crossing point which varies from season to season and cannot be predicted.

Serengeti great wildebeest migration and river crossing is amazing to witness and it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Overnight at Heritage Mara Camp, Northern Serengeti National Park.

DAY 04: SERENGETI

Enjoy another full day with our 6-day wildebeest migration river crossing game drive as you travel between the North and Central Serengeti.

Today you have the flexibility to decide how to do the game drive. Spend extra full day in the Northern Serengeti for river crossing and drive to the Central Serengeti in the evening, or enjoy a half-day game drive at Mara river in the North and a half-day game drive in the Central, the choice is all yours.

Overnight at Central Serengeti Luxury Camp.

DAY 05: SERENGETI

After morning breakfast, we will go on a game drive for the last time in the central Serengeti till afternoon. Go back to lodge for lunch and packing. Will then start a transfer game drive to Ngorongoro conservation, overnight at Ang’ata Lodge. The drive to the Ngorongoro Crater can take about 2 hours.

DAY 06: NGORONGORO

After breakfast descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a game drive. Experience a Big Five and other unique wildlife. Will have lunch inside Ngorongoro crater and ascend later afternoon for your drive back to Arusha. marking the end of your 6-day Serengeti migration river crossing safari.

Please note this tour can starts and ends in Arusha or fly in from Zanzibar. Alternatively, this tour can also start and end from Dar es Salaam or from Nairobi and it is all inclusive safari.
