8-Day Serengeti Migration Safari overview:

This 8-Day Serengeti Migration Safari gives you 4 days in the Serengeti, explore Northern Serengeti, western, central Serengeti and maximize your great wildebeest migration and Mara river crossing experiences.

You will also do game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater, well known for its beautiful landscapes, easy game viewing and high chances to spot the rare black rhino.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL & PICK UP.

Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel with an optional Arusha city tour. In the evening, safari brief, depending on your arrival time in Arusha, you can opt for our complimentary short hike at Kilima Moto to view a beautiful sunset.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE GAME DRIVE.

Safari starts around 8:00am, and start your 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is well known for the huge ancient baobab trees and number of elephants. During afternoon, will go to the river picnic site and enjoy the beautiful river view while having lunch.

Small monkeys and baboons will try to steal your food, however, Hakuna Matata, nothing to worry about. After lunch, proceed with the game drive before exit the park around 5:30pm and head to our accommodation (Farms Of Dreams) for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3: SERENGETI

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti for about 6 hours (including all stops), through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. stop at the view point and enjoy the breathtaking crater view.

Arrive late afternoon and proceed with game drive in Seronera (center of Serengeti). Game drive continues till late evening and experience the sunset in Serengeti while having a close view of the wild animals. Finally, we will head to Central Serengeti Luxury Camp.

DAY 4: NORTHERN SERENGETI

Explore the broader parts of the Serengeti as we drive to northwest and follow the wildebeest Migration movements.
Right after an early breakfast, depart for a morning game drive with a picnic lunch.

Game drive will focus on the Mara River and hopefully see herds of the great migration cross the Mara river. Continue with game drive until the evening, dinner and overnight at Heritage Mara Camp. Animals can be spotted at the camp.A

DAY 5: NORTHERN SERENGETI

Today, explore more of the Serengeti wildebeest migration with our 8-Days Serengeti great Migration Safari tour, drive west and return to the Mara River and wait for a river crossing to happen.

Here, we will see wildebeest gather and prepare to cross the Mara River. Hopefully, we will see the start of the migration river crossing!

Game drive will continue til late evening. Dinner and overnight at Heritage Mara Camp.

DAY 6: SERENGETI

After an early morning breakfast, we will go on a game drive for the last time in the Serengeti towards Seronera, central Serengeti. Eventually, we will exit the Serengeti in the late afternoon, heading to Rhino Lodge. The drive to the Ngorongoro Crater takes about 2 hours.

DAY 7: NGORONGORO

After early morning breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro crater around 6:15am. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in this beautiful crater, hope will be able to spot one. However, most animals will be very easy to spot on the crater floor.

After lunch, proceed with game drive and ascend the crater, and return to the lodge. Upon arrival, pack up and start your drive back at Tulia Hotel Arusha.

DAY 8: MATERUNI WATERFALLS

After breakfast, drive to the Materuni Waterfalls, where you will do a short hike for about 2 hours for this scenic Materuni waterfalls. After the hike, proceed with a local coffee making, local lunch before departing for the airport or back to Arusha marking the end of your great migration river crossing safari with our team.
