Best 4 days Lodge Safari itinerary

DAY 1: TARANGIRE GAME DRIVE.

Your 4 day Tanzania lodge safari will start with a pick-up from your hotel around 7:00 am and after being familiar with the guide, you will drive to Tarangire National Park (2hr drive) famous for its diverse landscape.

The park is particularly known for the abundance of Ancient Baobab trees & having the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families.

Later on, will go to the Tarangire River picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river & animals while having lunch, small monkeys & baboons will try to scare you off your lunch but there is nothing to worry about.

After lunch will proceed with the game drive and exit the park around 4:30 pm where will head to Heart & Soul Lodge for dinner & overnight.

DAY 2: SERENGETI GAME DRIVE.

After breakfast, we headed towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro conservation area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.

We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.

We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Safari Lodge or similar

If your prefer budget camping option, overnight will be at Nyani Campsite.

DAY 3:

SERENGETI- NGORONGORO.

After breakfast, we continued with an early morning game drive until lunchtime. After lunch, we head to Ngorongoro for overnight.

On the way, we can experience the Maasai traditional life and experience a few of these cultural people’s lives in the Ngorongoro conservations.

Or you can opt to visit the famous Olduvai George (cradle of mankind).

Dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge.

DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER.

After an early breakfast will descend the crater (6:15 am) on a journey to find the black rhino, rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater. Other animals are even much easier to spot in this park due to it being a floor crater.
