Best 5-day safari from Zanzibar itinerary
Day 1: Zanzibar Arusha Then Explore The Tarangire National Park.
Your 5-Days Tanzania Safari from Zanzibar starts with an early morning pick-up from the hotel and transfer to the Airport. On your arrival at Arusha airport meet with your safari crew and start a drive to Tarangire National Park (2hr drive) famous for its huge elephant herds.
We will do a game drive through the park depending on where they have reported sightings of animals.
After lunch, do a game drive till evening and drive to Farm of Dreams for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Drive to the Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast, embark on an approximately 7-hour journey from the hotel to Serengeti, (including all stops) passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation area.
Upon arrival in the afternoon, engage in a game drive at the heart of Serengeti until dusk. Witness the Serengeti sunset with a captivating view of wildlife.
Conclude the day with dinner and spend the night at a Serengeti Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Serengeti Full Day Game Drive (Follow the Migration).
After early morning breakfast, will drive into various corners of the Serengeti, north, south, east, and west, following the wildebeest migration herds (with a picnic meal).
Afterward, we’ll return to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Serengeti Game Drive Then Ngorongoro For Dinner & Overnight.
After an early breakfast will go on an early game drive and experience Serengeti till afternoon where will head to the lodge for lunch and pack. Proceed with a game drive while we exit the Serengeti heading to Ngorongoro Safari Lodge, Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.
Day 5. Ngorongoro crater game drive then Airport for Zanzibar.
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro crater at 6:15 am in search of the rare black rhino. Spotting rhinos is challenging in the crater, while most other animals are more easy to find in this park.
After lunch, we will embark on a game drive and then ascend from the crater for the journey back to Arusha, where you can either have dinner and spend the night or be driven to the airport for Zanzibar. End of your five days safari from Zanzibar.
