You will also visit Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to various wildlife, including lions and cheetahs, and at certain times of the year, the wildebeest migration.

3-days Tanzania safari itinerary

Day 1: Drive to the Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast, you will drive from Arusha (7:15 am) to Serengeti which takes around 7 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Arrive at Serengeti National Park in the late afternoon and do a game drive in the Seronera area (center of Serengeti). Experience the sunset in the Serengeti while having a close view of wild animals. If you are lucky, you may spot a predator hunting or on a kill. Later, head to the accommodation. Can be budget camping or lodge safari.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park game drive then Ngorongoro Crater.

After breakfast, we continued with the game drive until lunchtime. After lunch, we head to Ngorongoro for overnight. On the way, we can experience the Maasai traditional life and experience a few of these cultural people’s lives in the Ngorongoro conservations. Or you can opt to visit the famous Olduvai George (cradle of mankind).

Dinner and overnight at Campsite or Tented Lodge.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater game drive then Arusha.

After an early breakfast will descend the crater (6:15 am) on a journey to find the black rhino, rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater. Other animals are even much easier to spot in this park due to it being a floor crater.

After lunch will do a game drive and ascend the crater ready for the trip back to your hotel in Arusha or the airport.
