Get a travel companion, share the costs with new friends, and get a cheaper safari! On the dates below we are offering people, singles, and couples from different places of the world to share safari trips. There will be a maximum 6 people in each vehicle. Explore the Serengeti, a day-long game drive through the verdant Ngorongoro Crater, and visit the diverse landscapes of the Tarangire National Park, and see the flamingoes and tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara National Park.

Day 1: Arusha To Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, start your 2-hour drive to the park. Once you’ve entered Tarangire, begin your game drive across a rich vista of endless golden savannah that surrounds the Tarangire River. The river is a vital source of water for the animals of the region during the dry season and a setting for some riveting game viewing.

The river encrusted with acacia and baobab trees acts as a watering hole for the park’s large elephant population as well as other herbivores. A picnic lunch with a view of the river is a great way to take it all in, but you’ll have to keep on your toes as the monkey population does its best to separate you from your lunch!

Driving through the park, you’ll also have the opportunity to see lions, leopards, Cape buffalo, and a huge variety of antelopes. If you’re particularly lucky, you might even see endangered animals such as the Greater kudu, the fringe-eared oryx, or wild dog. After your day’s drive is done, you’ll return to your accommodation for the evening.

Day 2: Drive to the Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast at the lodge/campsite, you will start your way to the Serengeti National Park. On your way, you’ll have the chance to visit Olduvai Gorge where Leakey’s family discovered human fossils dating millions of years suggesting that Africa is the Cradle of mankind.

You will enter Serengeti through the Naabi Hill gate and continue with game drives inside the park. Expect to see lots of animals all year round. But it is the Great Migration that never stops amazing many travelers. The resident animal species include buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, lions, baboons, zebras, and so many bird species.

These do not migrate. Your overnight will be at either Seronera Campsite/ or Lobo Campsite. (Depending on the time of the year)
All meals are included.

Day 3: Serengeti game (Follow the Migration).

Start your day early by getting up before dawn to embark on a sunrise game drive. Accompanied by the melodic singing of the birds, you’ll spend your morning searching for leopards and lions hunting for their morning meal and spying on the contrastingly calm hippos returning to their watery homes with their families.

At approximately 9:00 a.m., we will return to your accommodation for a late and leisurely breakfast before continuing with the game drive. Your driver will select the best possible route based on the time of year and the kind of animals you’d like to see. The driver will cater to your day so that your opportunities to see the Serengeti’s diverse wildlife are maximized. Later in the afternoon, drive back to the camp for lunch and a siesta before proceeding with a game drive till late evening.

Day 4: Serengeti game drive then Ngorongoro.

After an early breakfast, go for a morning game drive during which you would possibly see predators or nocturnal animals in action. Later in the afternoon, you’ll be driven back to the camp for lunch. After lunch, you’ll continue with the afternoon game drive while exiting Serengeti National Park for Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive in Ngorongoro later in the evening and drive to Simba Campsite (located on the crater rim) for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5: Ngorongoro game drive then Arusha.

After early breakfast, start descending into the crater floor for an incredible morning game drive (in search of black rhinos). Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most stunning places on Earth. After the game drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch near the beautiful Hippo Lake.

After lunch, we will have time for a short game drive and then ascend the crater and exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We’ll drive towards Lake Manyara National Park. Get to Fig Tree Lodge and Campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6: Ngorongoro game drive then Arusha.

More attractive treats are in store for you. Extending for miles along the emerald base of the gold-flecked Rift Valley escarpment, this park can only be described as an array of vistas. Giraffes that are so dark in coloration, appear black from a distance and the tree-climbing lions roam the savannah plains.

Monkeys climb to the canopies of the forest whilst the hippos disguise themselves in the waters of the soda lake. With over four hundred species, Lake Manyara is a birdwatcher delight and attraction.

You will discover some of the wildlife including buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, mongoose, klipspringers, and bushbucks. A lovely picnic lunch will be served in the park and after the game drive, we will drive back to Arusha for dinner, celebrations, and overnight or your airport transfer (included).
