10 day Tanzania safari and Zanzibar holiday itinerary.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL
You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha (included). Relax for the rest of the afternoon and enjoy your dinner and prepare for the next day’s Tanzania Safari adventure. You may also opt to explore the city with our guide at no additional fee.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE GAME DRIVE.
After breakfast, start your road transfer to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant herds, awesome landscape and huge old baobab trees. You will experience a variety of landscapes, from temporary swamps to savanna woodland.
The Tarangire River is the only permanent water source for wildlife through out the year and this attracts many wildlife who are ready to risk life for water and welcoming happy predators.

DAY 3-5: SERENGETI
Early in the morning, depart for Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro conservation area. Continue with the game drive in the afternoon before reaching Central Serengeti Luxury Camp.
Serengeti National Park is famous for its great migrating wildebeest herds, antelope, and zebras across the Serengeti plains to Kenya. Be ready to see happy predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions stalking and hunting down big buffalos.
On the day 5 of your 10 day Tanzania safari and Zanzibar beach, you will be transfered from Serengeti to Ngorongoro overnight at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge and prepare for a crater game drive in the following day.
DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER-ZANZIBAR
After early morning breakfast, you descend the Ngorongoro crater for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the home to large mammals such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rare black rhinos.
After a game drive, ascend the crater and drive to Arusha airport or Kilimanjaro international airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
DAY 7-9: ZANZIBAR ISLAND
For the next 4 days, explore the Zanzibar island famous for it’s cool weather, and tropical waters. Here, get to plan how you will spend time exploring the fantastic Zanzibar archipelago. Below are top activities you can do while exploring the Zanzibar island.
Beach Days:
Zanzibar’s main attraction is its white sand beaches and tarquoes water. If you choose to, you can spend the remaining days swimming and relaxing on the Zanzibar beaches.
To spice up your Zanzibar stay, head to Paje for amazing parties, michamvi for some alone time in the beach, and Bwejuu for calm and relaxation int he villas.
History & Culture:
Stone Town boasts rich culture and history. Named a UNESCO world heritage site, it is home to some old buildings and monuments, including the Arab fort.
Explore the town with its unique Arabic architecture and earn the island’s dark history by visiting the Former Slave Market
DAY 10: DEPART FROM ZANZIBAR
Enjoy your last day in Zanzibar island by swimming on the beach and sunbathing for last time before we get you to the airport for your departing flight back home marking the end of your 10 day Serengeti safari and Zanzibar.
