4 day Tanzania Fly in & Out Camping Safari
This 4-day Tanzania Fly in & Out Camping Safari tour takes you around the famous north circuit park, the Ngorongoro Crater with its beautiful landscapes making it easier to see animals. The Tarangire is like a smaller Serengeti but famous for the huge number of elephants. This tour will also give you adequate time in the Serengeti National Park to view wild animals and relax. This safari is highly recommended if you are really passionate to explore wild animals and have a short time frame.
Day 1: Fly direct to Seronera airstrip and proceed with a full-day game drive.
Early morning pick up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer you to the airport (Included). Arrive at Seronera Airstrip Serengeti around 10:30 am – 11:00 am. Meet with the safari crew who will take you on a full-day game drive right away. The Serengeti is particularly known for its abundance of predators and having the largest concentration of wildebeest and zebras in the whole country.
Later on, you will go to the picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the animals while having a hot lunch. Small monkeys and baboons will try to scare you off your lunch but there is nothing to worry about.
After lunch, proceed with the game drive while heading to your accommodation (Nyani Campsite) for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 2: Serengeti Game Drive Then Ngorongoro.
After an early breakfast (around 6:30 a.m.), you will go on an early game drive searching for the Big Five till afternoon where you will head back to the camp for a hot lunch and pack. You’ll do a game drive while we exit the Serengeti heading to Simba Campsite (2 hours drive), located on the crater rim of Ngorongoro.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive.
After an early breakfast (around 6:30 a.m.), proceed with the Serengeti Game drive while en route to Ngorongoro Crater for more game drive.
Rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater as most animals will be easier to spot from this park due to it being a floor crater
After lunch will do a game drive ascend the crater and start your trip to Karatu Safari Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Tarangire game drive then Zanzibar.
After breakfast, start driving to the park. Once you’ve entered Tarangire, begin your game drive across a rich vista of endless golden savannah that surrounds the Tarangire River. The river is a vital source of water for the animals of the region during the dry season and a setting for some riveting game viewing.
The river encrusted with acacia and baobab trees acts as a watering hole for the park’s large elephant population as well as other herbivores.
Driving through the park, you’ll also have the opportunity to see lions, leopards, Cape buffalo, and a huge variety of antelopes. If you’re particularly lucky, you might even see endangered animals such as the greater kudu, the fringe-eared oryx, or wild dog.
Game drive till noon when you will exit the park and start driving to the Arusha airport for your Zanzibar flight.
