4 Day fly in & out Tanzania Camping Safari from Zanzibar
This 4-day Tanzania camping safari from Zanzibar provides an opportunity to observe the entire array of the “Big Five” and other fascinating wildlife. This safari will also let you experience budget as well as the comfort of accommodation while being fully immersed in the untouched beauty of authentic Africa. No wasting time on the road (a long hours drive), fly direct to Serengeti, and start your full-day game drive. Proceed with Ngorongoro before flying back to Zanzibar after the Tarangire Game drive.
Day 1: Fly direct to Seronera airstrip and proceed with a full-day game drive.
Early morning pick up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer you to the airport (Included). Arrive at Seronera Airstrip Serengeti around 10:30 am – 11:00 am. Meet with the safari crew who will take you on a full-day game drive right away. The Serengeti is particularly known for its abundance of predators and having the largest concentration of wildebeest and zebras in the whole country.
Later on, you will go to the picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the animals while having a hot lunch. Small monkeys and baboons will try to scare you off your lunch but there is nothing to worry about.
After lunch, proceed with the game drive while heading to your accommodation (Nyani Campsite) for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 2: Full-day Serengeti National Park (follow the migration)
Start with an early morning game drive (highly recommended) then go to far parts of the Serengeti north/ south/east/west depending on wildlife movements. Later afternoon, have lunch and continue the game drive to the evening then return to the campsite for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 3: Early morning Serengeti game drive then Ngorongoro Crater.
After an early breakfast (around 6:30 a.m.), proceed with the Serengeti Game drive while en route to Ngorongoro Crater for more game drive.
Rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater as most animals will be easier to spot from this park due to it being a floor crater
After lunch will do a game drive ascend the crater and start your trip to Karatu Safari Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Tarangire game drive then Zanzibar.
After breakfast, start driving to the park. Once you’ve entered Tarangire, begin your game drive across a rich vista of endless golden savannah that surrounds the Tarangire River. The river is a vital source of water for the animals of the region during the dry season and a setting for some riveting game viewing.
The river encrusted with acacia and baobab trees acts as a watering hole for the park’s large elephant population as well as other herbivores.
Driving through the park, you’ll also have the opportunity to see lions, leopards, Cape buffalo, and a huge variety of antelopes. If you’re particularly lucky, you might even see endangered animals such as the greater kudu, the fringe-eared oryx, or wild dog.
Game drive till noon when you will exit the park and start driving to the Arusha airport for your Zanzibar flight.
